What Are the Requirements to Attend Phy Ed for Fido?
Your dog doesn’t need to be a performance or show dog to participate in these classes. All Phy Ed for Fido participants do need good manners with other dogs, though, and must be up to date on all vaccinations. We’re in close quarters together, so it’s important we can all get along and all stay healthy!

What Is Phy Ed for Fido?
Phy Ed for Fido is a physical fitness class designed for you and your dog. In each class your dog will build strength, increase flexibility, work on balance and become more body aware. Your dog needs the same things we humans need – strength, fitness, flexibility and balance. Phy Ed helps them get there while having fun!
I am a K9 Fit Club Certified Trainer. Obtaining this certification involves 40 hours of hands-on training, lectures and practicum teaching. K9Fit trainers are well-versed in human and canine anatomy and physiology, as well as in working with and training dogs. We understand the benefits of fitness for everyone.

Lisa Marino, CPDT-KA, KPA-CTP, PMCT, has taken her varied teaching experiences and applied them to helping owners understand and train their beloved four-legged family members. She has more than four years’ experience leading group dog training classes at Best Paw Forward in Hartland, WI, and opened Head of the Class Dog Training LLC in Winchester, VA in 2012, where she conducts group classes and private lessons, as well as helps owners to modify their dogs' problem behaviors. Lisa earned her CPDT-KA in 2012, is a 2015 graduate of the prestigious Karen Pryor Academy and is a Pat Miller Certified Trainer.
